This post will include our behind-the-scenes and progress while shooting the documentary.
Self Reflection:
Shooting this project we had to push through several challenges such as lighting problems, a busy schedule, and many other problems. Facing these problems we were required to find solutions if we didn't it wouldn't be possible to finish our video. Listing all the problems we face made me realise how important it is to notice the small details that could change the meaning of a scene/clip. We did change a few things several times, finding the right lighting that could create the meaning we wanted was quite difficult, especially with minimal equipment but we did the best we could and found quick solutions to our problems. Making this compilation it made me realise how much my team and I have grown. For the next time, it would be better to invest more in technological tools such as microphones and cameras. Doing more independent research would also help improve the quality of our documentary as most of the time we had to figure out which camera angle was better for the scene as natural lighting caused us to make more changes.
